Laden with trees amidst forest, Morzine offers gorgeous treelined runs and a lovely Alpine town situated in the valley. With two parallel roads running the length of the resort getting around by car or on foot is nice and easy, roads are well kept and there are buses which run between Morzine and Avoriaz.
There are two sides to the resort, Montriond and Morzine each with main cable cars running up the mountain. If you head to the Morzine side you will reach a lively town center, the Morzine ski area and après ski bars such as Le Tremplin. On the Montriond side, lifts will give you access to the Avoriaz ski area. It is worth noting that to access each you must use the appropriate lift as it is not possible to ski from one into the other. If you would like to ski both in one day it is approximately a ten minute walk across the town between the two cable cars.
The Portes du Soleil has some outstanding off piste slopes, as well as 9 snowparks in total, all of which
are accessible from Morzine. This resort is the perfect place for those who would like to practice their flips
and tricks this season then party on a sunny deck with your mates after.
