Here are the facts, no other tour operator can run events like us. With a specialist team of trained events organisers and logistical experts, we have the tools and infrastructure to produce professional quality events exclusively for our Wasteland Ski groups. For our biggest events, WE our events business take on the task of managing and executing all aspects from concept through to completion. Nothing excites us more than looking at an event proposal and seeing how we can go one better, defying all misconceptions around what is possible in the Alps. You only have to look at Rise Festival which takes place in December each year, founded in partnership with Running Wild to see how we can grow events year on year, Rise has now cemented itself as a leading alpine festival and the perfect way to kick off the season. Take a look at some of the great other events we run below.

The Takeover started life in Tignes and has grown in to a favourite among our groups. From both small clubs & societies to larger followings, we’ve seen a whole host of different crews come along and absolutely love the Takeover. In recent years it’s settled in Val Thorens and it’s not hard to see why. With the beasty selection of bars and clubs, the high octane après from La Folie Douce and 360 Bar, the live music in Favela and the world renowned ski area, the list of highlights is endless. The Takeover is the full package. It’s the perfect mix of on slope and off slope action that still allows plenty of time for you to cruise about, chill and just generally do your own thing!

Rise Festival was born form a simple dream shared by Wasteland Ski and festival organisers Running Wild. Our dream was to throw parties on top of the world and create a festival alive with a sense of adventure. Between our years of experience in snow sports, strong connections with some of the worlds biggest DJ’s & artists and instinctive ideas for what it takes to make a truly authentic and fun festival we knew we had what it takes to throw one of Europe’s most crazy winter festivals. It’s the ultimate opportunity to supercharge your group trip with all the action Rise has to offer. After all, where else are you going to have the likes of Kano or Seth Troxler playing for you in between days on the slopes?!

Undoubtedly the headline UK event in the snowsports calendar every season, the Dryslope Champs is where it’s at. Held at the infamous Midlothian slope, Hillend in Edinburgh. 2,500+ students descend upon the Scottish capital for a weekend of incredible competitions on the slope by day and vibrant events by night. It’s a true showcase of young winter sport talent and an opportunity for clubs to score those sought after BUCS points!

This is it; The pinnacle of every season. Above & Below is the go to Easter Event that wraps up any season in style and with an undeniable bang that can only be delivered in true BUSC fashion. Full of flare, character, competition and ridiculousness it’s no wonder thousands upon thousands place their faith in BUSC to deliver year in year out. It’s looked to as a pilgrimage by many, a rite of passage to others; and to us? Well it’s best to see for yourselves.
